We have a large team of people who volunteer to help Presbyterian Youth (PY).
Our passion is to equip Churches to disciple young people.
Our desire is that youth will then go out and reach other people for Christ.

Presbyterian Youth NSW (PY) is a state-wide youth organisation, its main activities are:

Developing Christian Leaders
PY helps local churches develop their own leaders, through various levels of training and mentoring for scripture teachers, youth group leaders, and those exploring paid misintry positions.

Providing Christian Community
PY camps encourage young people to grow in godliness and provide a setting to mentor new leaders.

Developing young leaders
PY's Trainee Internship Program - local churches provide a mentor for their young leader, Trainees study a Certificate in Theology, intensive training at PY summer camp, 6 months ministry in local church, leadership at PY Winter Camp

Delivering theological training
Cafe Theoligica provides a flexible (online) way of studying for a distance Certificate in Theology.

Apprenticing leaders in pastoral ministry
PY partners with others to supply pre-colledge apprenticeship-style training in local churches, to members as they consider full time ministry.

Winning high school students for Christ
Genr8 - a strategic partnership between PY, Anglican Youthworks, Scripture Union, and Baptist Union - sees 70 SRE teachers employed in NSW schools. That means  around 7,500 students are taught the gospel every week.  The vision is to see a SRE teacher in every NSW high school,

Distance Dipoma in Theology
The distance Diploma in Theology will enable local leaders to stay in their hometown and study. SRE teachers, home missionaries, youth workers, Metro students, early retirees, women's workers, childrens workers - all can be equiped where they are.
